This is a project that tries to put a face on poignancy, irony and resolve, emotions that the subjects feel as they are about to embark on new journeys in their lives. I used my phone to take these pictures, they were more about emotional reactions to a scene than formulating the perfect picture. In the pairings are arranged to establish a rhythm, an aesthetic and to reveal information about each person and situation.

This project is a work in progress and I hope to employ what I've learned from it in future work.
