Transitory Scars
Neste projeto me concentro nas marcas deixadas em paredes após demolições na cidade de São Paulo. Essas 'cicatrizes' falam sobre as intensas transformações que marcaram e continuam marcando a cidade, quando o antigo agoniza para dar lugar ao novo. São Paulo é marcada por sucessivas fases de construção e reconstrução, numa ânsia por se modernizar que produz no entanto um crônico apagamento de suas memórias.
Este projeto foi publicado na revista Vida Simples (2015), revista de fotografia OLD e participou de exposição coletiva em Águas da Prata (SP, 2015) e Galeria Ambos Mundos (Buenos Aires - Argentina, 2018).
Transitory Scars
This project shows the hidden marks on walls next to recent demolition in the city of Sao Paulo. Those 'scars' talks about the transformations the city is suffering, where the old is dying to give way to the new.
Sao Paulo is marked by successive phases of construction and reconstruction, in an eagerness to modernize that nevertheless produces a chronic erasure of its memories.
This project was published in the magazine Vida Simples (2015), OLD photography magazine and participated in a collective exhibition in Águas da Prata (SP, 2015) and Ambos Mundos Gallery (Buenos Aires - Argentina, 2018).
