The architect of the Museum of ...g space. For The New York Times

The architect of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw is American architect Thomas Phifer. The building has 19,788 square metres of total space on four floors above ground and two floors underground. Exhibition spaces of more than 4,500 square metres. The edifice was planned horizontally and consists of two rectangular forms. Its distinctive white concrete façade, is intended to give expression to the ethos of the institution, as well as to permanently and timelessly integrate the building into the surrounding space.

A moment before the opening of Museum of Modern Art. The exhibition „The Impermanent. Four Takes on the Collection” will be open to the public for the first time. The exhibition is the first presentation on this scale of the MoMa's collection. The exhibition consists of over 150 works presented within four sections. The works presented in the exhibition all come from the same historical period, from the 1950s to the present.
