I had a fun weekend trip several weeks ago in Nahant, Mass for a wonderful project by Chicago's Public Radio Station WBEZ on how climate change is already affecting us. Nahant island is now facing the challenges of a rising ocean. As one of the residents told me, the low tides that he saw as a child there are now where the high tides used to be. The high tides today are starting to create havoc:
