Mallory Benedict is a photo editor on the History desk for National Geographic, commissioning original photography across print, digital, and mobile platforms.
Benedict graduated from the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism where she studied photojournalism, anthropology, and political science. Prior to National Geographic, Mallory interned at NPR, with Lauren Greenfield and freelanced as a photojournalist. In her free time she enjoys biking, traveling, and reading.
