Roman Sakovich

Roman was born in Lithuania in 1986. After finishing school in Siauliai he moved to Sweden at the age of 17. When he was 19 he moved to the UK where he currently resides. Roman received his first 35mm SLR camera  at the age of 16 and hasn´t stopped taking photographs since then. He received his BA in Commercial Photography at the Arts University at Bournemouth in 2011 and since then he is working on personal and commissioned projects.  Roman´s work is highly recognised by galleries and design agencies, and is being exhibited and published around the globe. He was also nominated with the IdeasTap & Magnum Photos Award in 2011, and in 2012 he went to do an internship in New York with the Magnum Photos agency. Now Roman is one of the future photographers at the London based Lisa Pritchard agency.  His work mainly specialises in architectural, documentary style and portraiture photography and is often inspired by urban environments both in the UK and abroad.
