There is a well-known quote amongst the Taoists that says, “Everything is nothing and nothing is everything.” It represents this idea that no matter how objective one tries to be, nothing physical or non-physical can have a truly objective value since its worth fluctuates completely amongst every individual in the world. One of the main reasons this happens is because most humans see, feel, and experience life in markedly different ways.
The unique experience of life is what shapes our identities as people, and so offers a sense of who we are and why we live in this world. This makes everyone a completely unique entity, unmatched by anything and anyone, whether in the past, the present, or the future. A whole universe can be found inside each human, if one knows how to look.
Life is so spontaneous, sudden, and surprising that I cannot avoid stopping to watch, awed, how everything around me flows towards a specific destination in time. And as I watch, my heart fills with contentment and my stomach hurts from hosting so many butterflies. It makes me be thankful to be alive as a human being, thankful to be able to record in my mind, remember, and share with others my own personal experience as one amongst many.
In short, the described experience is what has for years, compelled me to continue to stop and appreciate the world. And not only to appreciate it on my own, but to capture with a camera what I experience with my own eyes- because it is not enough to simply retell a story when I have the ability to help people see it.
Over time I have captured everything, because everything is beautiful. Because the same way everything is worth nothing to some, it is worth everything to others. I share what I have valued in my life to others, through this project, so they may understand, intimately, what makes me stand back in awe.
Because in the end, no matter what personal value I give to an experience, it is not the same value for others, because every experience in life is always a second away from its own uncertainty and its end.
With this in mind, I offer The End as an example of how people, time, and destiny have shaped what I experience in my everyday life as a human who is experiencing his own uncertainty amongst thousands like me.

Entre los taoístas hay un dicho conocido que dice: "Todo es nada y nada es todo". Representa la idea de que no importa cuán objetivo uno intente ser, nada físico o no físico puede tener un valor verdaderamente objetivo ya que su valor fluctúa entre cada individuo del mundo. Una de las principales razones por las que sucede esto es porque la mayoría de los seres humanos ven, sienten y experimentan la vida de maneras notablemente diferentes.
La experiencia única de la vida es lo que da forma a nuestras identidades como personas, y por lo tanto ofrece una idea de quiénes somos y por qué vivimos en este mundo. Esto hace que todos sean una entidad totalmente única, inigualable a nada ni a nadie, ya sea en el pasado, el presente o el futuro. Se puede encontrar un universo entero dentro de cada ser humano, si uno sabe cómo hallarlo.
La vida es tan espontánea, repentina y sorprendente que no puedo evitar detenerme a mirar, asombrado, cómo todo a mi alrededor fluye hacia un destino específico en el tiempo. Y a medida que veo, mi corazón se llena de satisfacción y me duele el estómago por albergar tantas mariposas. Me hace sentirme agradecido de estar vivo como ser humano, agradecido de poder grabar en mi mente, recordar y compartir con otros mi propia experiencia personal como uno entre muchos.
En resumen, la experiencia descrita es lo que durante años me ha obligado a continuar a detenerme y apreciar el mundo. Y no solo para apreciarlo solo, sino para capturar con una cámara lo que experimento con mis propios ojos, porque no es suficiente volver a contar una historia cuando tengo la capacidad de ayudar a la gente a verlo.
Con el tiempo lo he capturado todo, porque todo es hermoso. Debido a que de la misma manera que para unos todo vale nada, para otros vale todo. Comparto lo que he valorado en mi vida con los demás, a través de este proyecto, para que puedan entender, de una manera íntima, lo que me sorprende.
Porque al final, no importa qué valor personal le dé a una experiencia, no tiene el mismo valor para los demás, porque cada experiencia en la vida está siempre a un segundo de su propia incertidumbre y su final.
Con esto en mente, ofrezco The End (El Final) como un ejemplo de cómo las personas, el tiempo y el destino han moldeado lo que experimento en mi vida cotidiana como humano experimentando su propia incertidumbre entre miles como yo.
