Rugby 4 Peace is a project that is responsible for, through sport, offering healthy values for a good coexistence to children affected by the armed conflict in different towns of Chocó, in the Colombian Pacific, such as Bahía Solano or El Valle. This area of Colombia is one of the most affected today by the fights between the ELN guerrilla and the AGC paramilitaries, also known as Clan del Golfo due to the dispute over territory and drug trafficking routes, and most of the children and their families participating in this project have been affected by this conflict in one way or another. In addition, this region has some of the highest poverty rates in the country, being in a completely isolated area with no roads that reach there.
