Summary
As a restrictive camping ordinance in Missoula goes into effect, Clayton Shaya, an organizer for the Missoula Unhoused Neighbors Union who has been homeless for nearly 10 years, is left piecing together aspects of his life after returning to town following an extradition to Seattle, Washington almost six months prior.

Now, as he begins to settle back into the town he calls home, Clayton spends most of his time looking for a way forward, not only for himself but for many in his community who face the same hurdles he does.
As a newly enacted camping ordinance takes hold in Missoula, Montana, further restricting where unhoused individuals can legally rest, Clayton Shaya, an organizer for the Missoula Unhoused Neighbors Union who has been homeless for nearly 10 years, is left piecing together aspects of his life after returning to town following an extradition to Washington almost six months prior.

Now, as he begins to settle back into the town he calls home, Clayton spends most of his time looking for a way forward, not only for himself, but for the many others in Missoula whose lives are similarly shaped by housing instability, public scrutiny, and political neglect.
