Rancher Jeff Siddoway (L) operates a gate to separate the ewes from the lambs. When a ewe comes through the single file chute she will be able to exit and join the other ewes. The lams will be loaded in to a truck.

I got the photograph the Siddoway Sheep Company driving their herds to the Palisades lake, on the border of Idaho and Wyoming. The ewes were separated from their lambs, loaded in to live stock trucks and shipped to Colorado to be slaughtered for meat.
