The President of the Republic, Jovenel Moise, met the President of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, this Monday in the morning. This official visit, the first of the Moise era, is part of the strengthening of ties of solidarity and friendship between the two countries. The two counterparts took part in a working lunch at the National Palace, about an hour after the Haitian chancellor, Antonio Rodrigue, received the Chilean President at Toussaint Louverture Airport. At the end of the luncheon, the Haitian and Chilean Chancellors, Antonio Rodrigue and Heraldo Muñoz Valenzuela, signed a supplementary agreement to the basic agreement for scientific and technical cooperation between the Haitian government and the Chilean government for comparability or equivalence and the recognition of studies in basic or basic education and in middle and secondary education.
