The essay tries to capture the daily life of the Mexican people, analyzed from three different scenarios.

The first is the entire urban area of the capital, a space called DF or Federal District, its streets, folklore and written slogans.

The second is its central square, known as "El Zócalo", center of government yesterday and today.

The trip ends at the Teotihuacán pyramids, an ancient spiritual center in the era of Mayan civilization.
