Josie Kunkle-Schoen, 15 year-old high school student from Madison, WI, attended the March for Our Lives Rally on Saturday, March 24, 2017 in Washington, DC. She offered the following, “I’m here because I think that… it’s really scary, honestly… having dreams about having your school shot up and stuff is really scary and things are so accessible and it needs to be changed. There needs to be change.”—March For Our Lives is a student-led movement to end gun violence in the United States. Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets of Washington, DC to demand that peoples’ lives and safety become a priority and to put an end to gun violence in communities and schools immediately.
