Daphne Chan is a Canadian artist and photographer. Born in Montreal, she obtained a BA in Psychology and a LL.B/BCL in Law. She's a graduate of the National School of Photography in Arles and the International Center of Photography in New York (ICP).
Chan's work explores identity through gender, culture, sexuality and body image. Her work has been featured in many group and solo exhibitions internationally.
She is an international speaker and lecturer at many public and private photographic institutions including Vancouver Photoworkshops, Parsons, NYU and ICP.
Daphne is currently working on Transparency: The Gender Identity Project and is studying New Media Narratives at ICP.
