Being selected for the Eddie Adams Workshop was already an extreme honour in itself. Having the privilege to learn and being mentored is something I will be eternally grateful for. Seeing the works of all these super talented and gifted people, and being part of a community is an absolute joy. But being honoured with the National Geographic Award is truly empowering. 

The path to get to the place where I am now has not been easy and the award is a tremendous recognition that means the world to me.
