Over the past three weeks, I have been posting short essay pieces on Altars in my home from home, New Orleans. Some of the Altars have been created in a moment and at the site of Anti-police, Anti-Racist M4BLs protests. Others I have come across on my twice-daily walks. One particular site of Altars has been the pedestrian [blue] bridge across Bayou St. John in the Midtown area. One had a life of five days before being dismantled by a white resident who presumably decided they could not stand to see Black Death in their neighbourhood or some other reason of hate!

Today that Altar is back and this time includes lessons in anti-racism for white people which I think is a pretty generous action given that after 400 years white people should have been able to figure out racism in America is alive and well.
