Pregnant in Gaza with Nowhere to Go (2024) for the New York Times Magazine

A three month assignment with the New York Times Magazine to depict the story of Nevin, a 35 year old mother of four daughters and pregnant with her son. Nevin was able to collect donations to flee genocide in Gaza with her family. At the borders, her husband, Mahmoud was not allowed out. Thus, Nevin came into Ismalia, Egypt, eight months pregnant, with young daughters and alone. I've accompanied Nevin since her entry until she able for collect further donations to bring in her husband four days before the invasion of Rafah and closing of the borders.
