Unposed images of my family record the relationships where I have most at stake. I explore the space between connection and disconnection; youth and aging; health and sickness; community and individualism. This project began in 2012, when we lost my father in-law and had our first baby. Attuned to our fragility, I began documenting our family across life's phases.
