The National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery Alabama. Opened in 2019 to remember the men and women who where beaten and hanged in the United States. There were over 4,300 black men and women put to death between 1877 and 1950. This memorial documents as many known and unknown deaths by State and County.
