2018 turned out to be a significant year in my career and I’m very grateful to be supported by great editors, organizations, mentors and friends.

This year I traveled around the USofA more than I ever have in my life; from NYC to DC, Colorado, Minnesota, Indiana, Florida, Washington, Texas and Alaska.....ALASKA. I completed my Photography and Social Justice Fellowship with the Magnum Foundation, who I’m glad to call family. My work in St. Albans, Queens was displayed on LinkNYC Kiosks along Jamaica Avenue all thanks to local organizations A Better Jamaica and the Jamaica Arts Council. My work on Mullaly Bikepark was published in NPR’s The Picture Show. I received my first opportunities to prove myself with NPR  in photographing high profile people like former FBI Director James Comey, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javid Zarif and Lin-Manuel Miranda. National Geographic invested in my growth with an opportunity to assist Paolo Verzone for his cover story on the Bible (we met Jesus IRL too), which was followed by my second Nat Geo assignment to photograph the Africatown community in Mobile, Alabama. And lastly, I was able to grow alongside my closest friends who are also living this crazy dream with me.

Looking forward to the growth to come in 2019!
