Sri Hartini is a female figure who became a concern when she was assigned to be the leader of a forest ranger, which was inherited from her father. "Take care of the wellspring, not the tears" were the words that Sri Hartini kept on remembering when her father gave her a message during her critical moments. The considerable responsibility for protecting the Wonosadi Customary Forest area and also for the preservation of the Rinding Gumbeng art should not be the sole burden of Sri Hartini. Residents around Dusun Duren and Sidorejo should have the same awareness of preserving the forest as the backbone of their lives and the art of Rinding which has become their cultural identity. Wellsprings that flow to agricultural lands and also for household needs must be maintained for the sake of the continuity of the next generation. Even though the threat of regeneration is increasingly visible with the rise of urbanization, hopefully, the awareness to continue to protect and care for the precious treasures of nature will still grow in the next generation.
