Julie Grace Immink is a photographer currently based in Milwaukee, WI. She works on long and short term documentary photo projects about the human condition. She was born and raised on the Jersey Shore and began photographing as a young teenager.  Her working-class upbringing has inspired her work to focus on the socio-economic landscape of subcultures and communities.
Her photographs of human settlement are saturated with provocative thoughts about commerce, faith, and community.  She studied photography at the Art Institute of Philadelphia.  Her work has been published in LA Weekly, LAist, Argonaut News, and Roadtrippers Magazine.  She has also participated in photographic exhibitions internationally.
When she is not photographing you can find her swimming, kayaking through rivers, or talking to strangers (the stranger the better).
