Into The Shadows - publication of my new project

Reaching Europe does not mean finding safety. Here are the voices of those who describe the harsh conditions they face once on European soil—often pushed back and forth between countries, as none want to take responsibility for their asylum claims. This is the stark reality between Poland and Germany for people, the majority of whom come from African and Arab countries. This is a story I have been working on over the past months, thanks to a grant from IJ4EU and in collaboration with my German colleague, Roberto Jurkschat. Part of this work has just been published as a photo essay in El País. Here is the link:
