THE LITTLE GUY

THE LITTLE GUY

When all processing of Kodachrome ended, in late 2010, I bought a small digital pointand shoot Lumix camera. I called it the little guy, to distinguish it from the Canon T-90clunker I had been schlepping for the previous 20 years.

I love this camera. It's Leica lens is very sharp and it's dimunitive size never attractsattention. I can, and do, shoot anywhere, everyone assumes I'm a tourist.

I've always been a one camera at a time kind of guy. My first book was done with aLeica, the next two with the T-90. This body of work is with the Lumix LX series. Formfollows function, once I learn how the camera sees, it gets out of the way and becomes anextension of my eye.
