On February 6, 2023, the earth shook in Southern Turkey and Northern Syria. Two devastating earthquakes hit the region. Within a few hours, thousands of buildings crumbled and millions of people were in the streets. By the beginning of March, the latest reports stated that 50,000 had lost their lives and 120,000 were wounded.
