Kingdom Vision International Church held a tent revival on Friday, Oct. 18, 2019 along Frontage Road in Columbus. Condensation clung to the tent’s tarp ceiling as their arms embraced one another. Shouting in praise for God and the Golden Triangle to hear, Preacher R.J. Matthews took the stage. Families traveled from Starkville and West Point to hear Matthews speak. Many were slain in the spirit as they melted into the ground beneath them — shouting their praise for the greatness of god.
Coyboys and cowgirls from around the region gathered for the 1st Annual Slamfest Rodeo Saturday night at the Sam White Arena in West Point. The rodeo featured steer wrestling, team roping, bull riding, barrel racing and more.
