This community lives adrift in a sector of great climatic and environmental impact, because being such an extreme place, the waves and air currents coming from the ocean make the place a difficult and constantly changing space.
The place in an artificial territory created by man to extend the meeting of the river with the sea in order to create a fluvial highway for ships that enter the port of the city of Barranquilla, marking the end of a great Magdalena river, the which crosses the country from the interior, bringing with it all the garbage and waste from the country, and creating an environmental complexity to which these fishermen are exposed on a daily basis.

Summary
This is a series of photographs that shows the physical and spatial reality of a fishing community that lives from their work in what is today the final stretch of the great Magdalena river in Colombia.
The ¨Bocas de Cenisa¨ sector is a long stretch of old railway that demarcates a continental strip that is characterized by its narrow condition. In this place the fishing community has established itself and over time has imposed its architecture and lifestyle marked by its nomadic ways and libertarian life.
