Ian Gagnon - Gradute student at University of New Hampshire. Ian is standing on a platform he designed that will soon be used to install a tidal turbine. The turbine will be installed on a newly constructed bridge to harness the energy of tidal flows in the Piscataqua River. Greg Cooper - Forester with the United States Forest Service. Greg earned his undergraduate degree in biology then went on to earn two masters degrees, one in Forestry and another in Environmental Management. Much of his time is spent in the forest doing stand analysis in preperation for timber sales.
Amey Bailey - Forest Technician responsible for the physical archives at Hubbard Brook Research Center. The physical archive includes water samples dating back to the mid 1960's, leaf samples, soil, wood and gravel.Â

Just begining a portrait series photographing people in the fields of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) I will be shining some light on the people that endeavor to move our civilization forward through these fields. The current political climate is undermining the sciences and replacing it with random subjective political opinons based on nothing more than poll numbers.
