Attendees at the Asheville Hemp Festival this past weekend learn about Delta 8 gummies at a booth run by the local CBD and hemp shop, Sunfroot. The four-day festival included hemp products, bands, speakers, and activities for kids. The purpose of the festival was to bring the community together and share the benefits of hemp and its related products. It was also used to educate residents about the proposed legislation to legalize medical marijuana in North Carolina. While festival organizers support legalization, they believe this current legislation doesn’t adequately address cannabis decriminalization or allow small, locally-owned businesses to participate in this new industry.
