Hotel guests at the Crown Plaza in Asheville, North Carolina were surprised to share their weekend accommodations with a convention full of animal characters in costume. The Blue Ridge Furfare welcomed furries to its second annual convention last weekend. A furry is someone with an interest in anthropomorphic animals with human characteristics like walking and talking. Convention attendees wore fur-suits or tails and ears while attending seminars and strolling through booths of furry artwork for sell.
