Temperatures in the south last weekend reached nearly record high levels with Greenville, South Carolina topping 88 and 90 degrees on Friday and Saturday, 10 degrees above the average for this time of year. Youth tennis players struggled in the heat competing in a junior tennis tournament at the Greenville Country Club.
