A little girl stands beneath the Marilyn Monroe statue in Palm Springs, Calif. The 26-foot statue, created by sculptor John Seward Johnson II and inspired by the movie The Seven Year Itch, was first loaned to the city in 2012 for 26 months before it was moved to New Jersey. The statue returned to the city in 2021 where it stands today in front of the Palm Springs Art Museum.
