STOOP TALK is a collaborative, interactive workshop designed with the intentions of the Black and Brown communities of Northwest Arkansas. Each iteration of workshops focuses on the care, access, and location that is best cultivated with the community in mind. With the artist and creator, Larissa Ramey, she utltizes the AEffect of the feedback from each event and shapes a new experience each time with multiple mediums. The goal is to grow a dialouge and new visual language surrounding what art can be and mean for the local community members and artists. Active participation, creative strategy, and support are fundamental to the progression of these workshops to inspire change and enage in ways that represent the lived experiences and suggestions of all its particpants. The focus is to grow the narrative that art is for us and by us, and we can have an impact in our legacy.
