Eternal Flame is the artist Paul Ramirez Jonas' monument project which is a functional communal barbeque that implies persisting through generations and across vast distances. Photographed for the Socrates Sculpture Park, this project collaborated with Queens Together, an initiative that seeks to empower and support diverse local restaurants located in Queens, New York especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The restaurants photographed in this series feature family-owned restaurants Casa del Chef, Zenon Taverna, Boishakhi, La Adelita, the Nourish Spot, and M Wells.
