This is the story of Laura and her mother Annalisa. Laura has a very serious brain damage with the limitations of language, movements and intellectual. Annalisa, bank employee, shares with her daughter all her life moment by moment with dedication and love. When the mother is at work, Laura is followed for rehabilitation in the center Fratelli Carrara at M.A.I.C. Foundation in Pistoia. But it is within their nest that I wanted to focus the story, trying to get into the emotional of the two women. Annalisa Instead, he spent the time together with daughter with great passion. What I hit is the strength and the courage of this woman, which fails to address emotional and physical stress daily. Annalisa, in fact, is a single woman, no husband, nor parents at his side. And alone has to face everything.

Annalisa (and all parents like her) is the only caregiver. She has no right to holidays, illness and neither rest. A situation that often leads to heavy stress, depression and social isolation.

A large proportion of Italians who often, however, still seems invisible to the eyes of community.
