Margherita Guerra is the founder of Yourpictureditor, an independent and international network of photo editors. Guerra also serves as Director of Fotofestival Lenzburg in Switzerland.
After graduating in theology, she studied digital publishing at the Polytechnic of Milan and specialised in photography with a post-graduate course at the Italian Institute of Photography.
After 15 years of experience as a managing editor and iconographic research expert at various publishing houses and at the Alinari Archive in Florence, she founded Yourpictureditor in Switzerland, a network of photo and content editors who provide photo research services, photographer scouting and support for photographers' exhibitions.
In 2017 she co-founded the Photographic Society of Lenzburg and started the project of the Fotofestival Lenzburg. The Fotofestival, which takes place every September in Lenzburg, grows every year, attracting more and more national and international attention while maintaining its intimate dimension, allowing photographers, experts and the public to explore current issues in-depth with exhibitions and talks.
