The armed conflict in southeastern Ukraine has given rise to a patriotic youth movement. Patriotic-military clubs and organizations are using the unprecedented popularity of this trend among teens and young people. Girls are the most active members of such organizations. These groups teach military skills, run physical training programs, and oversee educational and ideological work. Participation in patriotic military organizations gives young women confidence and serves as a certain guarantee for future adult life. Most of the activists sincerely believe in the future of their homeland, and are ready to come to its defense.
