Summary
The Legacy of Maryann Sundown - In this video we attend the 2019 Cama-i Festival in Bethel, Alaska. A celebration of native dance, culture and community, families from Alaska Native villages around the state attend each year. The Sundown family has always been particularly known for their use of humor in their dance routines.

Maryann Sundown takes us through the importance of Alaska Native dance and her family's particular and unique style.

This video won the 2020 RTDNA National Edward R. Murrow Award for Excellence in Video.
