MFCH is a Mexican photographer and filmmaker, born in 1987 and raised in Tijuana, Baja California.
She works on long-term projects where she can delve into narratives that address the inherent relationship between humans and nature. In her current work, she explores psychogeography and visual archeology as opportunities for fiction and documentary storytelling techniques.
She studied Visual and Media Arts, Film and Photography, and has participated in different workshops of creation and reflection around visual work like 20Fotógrafos led by Colectivo+1, Hydra + Fotografía led by Ana Casas Broda and Beatriz Novaro, and Círculo de Crítica de Obra led by Fabiola Menchelli.
Grantee of FONCA Jóvenes Creadores 2020-2021 and beneficiary of Sony Latin in 2018 and 2019.
Works as a freelance photographer, director, and producer for documentaries and commercial projects.
