Oct 10, 2017
This Friday (Oct. 13) Matt Black will be presenting his "Geography of Poverty" work at the Palo Alto Photo Forum, followed by a conversation, moderated by me. If you're in the area, I hope you can make it. Tickets are available here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/matt-black-tickets-36040712742

Then, Nov. 11th and 12th, Matt Black, Brian Storm (of MediaStorm) and myself will be holding a workshop at SF Camerawork.

It is a two-day photographic masterclass centered around photographic storytelling in which we grapple with such questions as what makes a good story, how to choose and narrow in on your subject, the importance of editing and how to connect with your audience. More information available here: https://www.magnumphotos.com/events/event/san-francisco-professional-practice-workshop-the-art-of-storytelling/
