This question was the guiding thread of our workshop. As people started to arrive, they found a guide titled 'How to Make a Cyanotype.'
Cyanotype is an alternative photographic technique that, like many creative processes, is prone to error. What fascinates me most about this technique is its unpredictability; we can only see the result at the very end of the process. In this, I see a clear metaphor for the migratory journey: only with time can we truly understand what we have built and where we are headed.
