"Grace Before Dying" is a series of images dynmaically shot by photographer, Lori Waselchuk. For three years, the Philadelphia photographer captured the inner workings of the prisoner-run hospice care program  at Louisiana State Penitentiary (Also known as Angola) for their critically ill patients.

Wselchuk's crisp, black and white images depict the prisoner volunteers as gentle, attentive caregivers, which are completely different portrayals of convicted felons which mainstream media typically show.
