Benard Omwaka

I am a photographer and communication practitioner with a strong background in journalism. Through the lens of my camera, I capture the beauty of nature and the world around us, telling compelling visual stories. I have been involved in many individual projects and projects with a wide range of organizations. I have past experience as a photojournalist in one of the top dailies in Kenya.  Apart from doing photography, I have been a facilitator for photography workshops and the use of photography for social change.   I am a versatile visual communicator that loves to tell simple stories from within my surrounding and from my travel experiences through photography.  I am greatly invested in telling stories within my environment using photography, for example, little changes that people may fail to notice. As a journalist, I have experience in both print and broadcast.
