Dr. Denis Mukwege wins the Nobel Peace Prize

In March 2015, the Forces Armées de la République Démocratique du Congo (FARDC) have taken a step forward in the fight against conflict-related sexual violence with the signing by commanders of a declaration to combat rape in war. According to the #UN the signing of the declaration on ending this violence against women is an integral step in implementing the national action plan against sexual violence in conflict. Rape victims could be young as 5 years and even younger.
