In the small town of Mineral Wells, Texas, kids are always trying to find things to do; as someone who grew up in areas like this, abandoned buildings always were a thing to explore, swap ghost stories, and look into history. A group of young kids sneak into an old Hotel built in 1929. The 14-story building towers over anything built in the town but lies in ruins and takes admission to see the hotel with a guided tour. The town of Mineral Wells has a very interesting history. In the 1900s, stories of a woman with mental illness drank from fresh drilled water wells twice a day, and her illness vanished. This was one of the attractions the Baker Hotel thrived with during those early years.
