Matt Schmittdiel is a first year masters student in the School of Journalism at the University of Missouri. He is currently pursuing a degree in Documentary Journalism and is set to graduate in the May 2021. Matt is currently working as a contributing writer for Vox Magazine as a culture writer and as an assistant in the Global Programs office.
Matt has a passion for storytelling in all capacities, on and off stage. Matt is a well seasoned actor with his latest roles being in Mizzou's Larry D. Clark's Summer Repertory Theatre. He hopes to audition for MFA acting programs in the winter of 2021.
At the moment Matt is doing everything he can to expand his knowledge and skillsets as a journalist, actor, and filmmaker. Matt graduated from the University of Missouri in 2019 with his Bachelor of Journalism in Radio-Television Producing and his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance
