Experiencing Japan: NYC Salt Gallery Show Opening

Oct 14, 2019
Join us in celebrating the culmination of NYC Salt students, Christian Restrepo, Gisele Placeres, and Grace McNally's photographic journey in Japan. The students were chosen to represent the US in a photo competition and were sent to Japan for 10 days on a full scholarship. Our exhibition will feature specially curated collections of work produced while competing in Higashikawa, Japan's fifth annual Youth Festival. Come hear the experiences, anecdotes, and insights from both students and facilitator/mentor Michael Kaminski.
We hope you will join us for this spectacular experience to view original artwork by our young, emerging photographers, enjoy a private gallery reception, and expand your art collection with affordable prints created by our students.
Be prepared to be inspired!

Location & Time
The event will take place at Viabizzuno (245 West 29th Street, New York, NY, 10001) at 6 pm on Tuesday, October 15th.
Purchasing Prints
Come prepared to order a print at the show. We are working with our partner, Duggal to host all the images online for purchasing at Your Art Gallery. Simply scan the QR code under each photo with your phone camera, and a link will appear to direct you to the online purchasing platform. We will also have some of our "Best of Salt" pictures that would be great as Holiday gifts! These prints are packaged and you can take them home with you if you want to make a purchase. Join the SALT community in celebrating our students and their work!
Thank you to all our sponsors who are making this event and this program possible:
Viabizzuno, Duggal, Your Art Gallery, ILFORD, Nikon, The Leonian Foundation, Duane Morris, BLVD Artists
See you soon!
