A painting of a young Joseph Smith being visited by the angel Moroni and God in his youth within the Sacred Grove. This painting hangs near the visitor's center by the Sacred Grove, a holy site for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located in Palmyra, New York.
Examples of how the original Book of Mormon would be publsihed inside a print shop were shown upstairs in the Grandin Building. Metal type was arranged into the printing press and then coated with ink before transferring to paper.
