Next week is all about R O S E S ! These are some of the many beautiful scented roses grown at the Real Flower Company in Hampshire (UK). Once the British growing season is over scented garden roses, herbs and foliage are harvested at their Fairtrade sister farm on the foothills of Mount Kenya and supplied to their florist shops. Tomorrow I will be heading to Kenya to visit this very special rose farm, leaders in the field of scented rose production in Kenya and accredited with the highest levels in social and environmental standards.
