A view of new buildings in the city of Maputo. Due to the economical crisis, many of these apartments remain unsold.
A worker of IdeiaLab, a consulting company that helps and supports the development of start-ups, accelerating the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises. IdeiaLab focuses especially on women that want to start or carry on their company. Tatiana Pereira, one of the founders of IdeiaLab, said that the biggest challenge is to teach to other Mozambicans to act and not be afraid, taking their chances. She said “We have to fight with a colonial mentality and with a system that does not valorize personal initiative".
